A historian has shed new light on the fabled Robin Hood budget, which he says is misrepresented in the modern media.
While it's thought Robin Hood did rob from the rich, he left the super rich alone, even bestowing knighthoods on some of the more unplatable members.
Meanwhile, it is alleged, vey little of the money Robin Hood took from the rich made it to the poor. Among his personal expenses, Hood listed the upkeep on a "second home" and itemised a hundred thousand groats for "tights".
Hood blamed the Sheriff of Nottingham, who introdcued the accounting system.
