Soccer star Wayne Rooney and his childhood sweetheart Sir Alex Ferguson have reportedly “kissed and made up” following Sunday newspaper reports that Rooney was about to prostitute himself around the world’s top football clubs.
Ferguson was said to be “delighted” that the relationship had been saved. “Hopefully now we can put this sordid business behind us. Wayne and I belong together. His life puts many temptations in his way but he knows that I will always be there for him”.
Rooney echoed Ferguson's comments in a short statement issued through an interpreter.
Ferguson concluded “Wayne and I will be going off for a few days for some private time together. He will be then be in the starting line up for our next game. Hopefully now that everything’s sorted he will return to form, but if not I can always pull him off at half time”.
