In an emotional statement, Sir Mark Thatcher has announced that he is 'a bit lost' as to which hospital his mother is being treated at for a minor infection.
'Lady Thatcher was admitted to hospital last night suffering from flu-like symptoms,' Sir Mark told reporters. 'There were some paramedics and doctors, and a sort of white vehicle that I think was an ambulance which drove off down the road that way, but I'm not sure where they went after that. I followed for a bit, but to be honest I didn't really know which direction I was going in and ended up driving in circles around Chelsea for three days.'
Doctors advised Baroness Thatcher to give up public speaking in 2008 after a series of minor strokes, and a senior consultant on her medical team at the Cromwell Hospital confirmed today that they are considering extending this advice to her son.
