The authorities finally found out why the mine collapsed.

The miners had been using all the pit props to convert the sanctuary into an extravagant lounge. Took them 2 months to build. Refreshments were passed down the supply tube. They couldn't get any escort girls, so had to improvise. No wonder the youngest miner was suffering from stress.

[anyone want to build on the ideas ?]

I always liked the way it was described as cramped conditions - apart from the massive area to the side with trucks and a football pitch.
