Kafka reviewer accused of Czech book journalism.[center]
No no, that's not right.
Hang on, hang on.....
Yup, that's the one! 5 pragues.
Mass reprint of Kafka's works just 'Czech book publishing' says reviewer
Nice pun BTW.
And was paid with a dud Czech.
Comparative literature nerd alert: Czechs don't really think of Kafka as part of their canon of literature, he wrote in German after all quite aside from being an alienating and alienated oddball.
His hobbies included trampolining - hence the bouncing Czech. Thanks to Basil Brush for that.
A fat cheque to a fat Czech, I believe Ian Hislop said when paying damages to Robert Maxwell. I thought you were supposed to be revising...
He had a thing for Kellogg's 'Special K' and the Beatles apparently. According to wiki, that is.
I had to do 'Die Verwandlung' for German A levels. At least it was short...
Apparently Kafka used to travel by train from Prague to Berlin to see his girlfriend and the journey took 6 hours. After 80 years of intensive technological development in modern railway technology it now only takes 5 hours.
@ Des Custard - who are you, my mother? :) I have to have a break from the tedium sometimes, so I go back to the revision.
