Today Tony Blair is said to be quite stunned after failing to secure the Nobel Peace Prize. Many had expected him to receive the award in recognition of the all wars he had started around the world.
Although Mr Blair was unavailable for comment a spokesman for the ex Prime Minister said “It is a shock to us all. Apart from his efforts in Iraq and Afghanistan and more recently trying to push for the invasion of Iran, many will be less aware of his more recent efforts representing Israel’s interests in the Middle East. Tony is taking time off from his busy schedule whilst he tried to put his life back together after this devastating loss, We all thought the switch to Catholicism ensured this award was a dead cert”.
Undoubtedly Mr Blair will recover from this set-back and continue to command unprecedented income on the back of pain and suffering he has instigated throughout the Islamic world.
