Polymath actress, model, mum and part time horse carriage driver Katie Price was today awarded the Nobel prize for literature, narrowly beating Mario Vargas Llosa into second place with her soon to be released autobiography ‘You Only Live Once’.
She was characteristically modest about her achievement and said she would be spending the €960,000 prize money on ‘a slap up meal at Nando’s and a lovely three piece suite I’ve had my eye on in Ikea.’ However, she refused to comment on claims that Vargas Llosa, a renowned cage fighter, has put up a significant bounty for her death. Seemingly unconcerned that aggrieved fans of Vargas Llosa might take the title of her work as a challenge, she vowed to carry on writing regardless; her ghost writer was unavailable for comment.
