The BBC has denied its correspondents are too obsessed with America, after 200 of its reporters flew to land of good room service and top hotels, in preparation for Britain's forthcoming general election. Many claimed that it was vital to be checking in to the Marriot in New England, as the Noo Hampshire Pry Mary is a useful bellwether for the mood of the public.
'I don't know what a pry mary is, but it's american, and it sounds good,' said a BBC reporter.
