Nice one, la maga. I think that might also secure you the WoM, although I could be wrong because I know it's tight at the top. If so, well done mate. The Star Wars thing was the highlight of the month.

Strictly speaking male (versus enchantress) but often applied either way.

Unless your intent is to fawn or stalk, it hardly matters. In the interest of internet safety I suggest we assume and refer to all contributors as male, even if they try to deny it and hide behind an apparently female persona.

Top stuff whoever/whatever you are.

Just seen this. I've been at work all day and had no idea I got the front page. Thanks for the congrats everyone, and for the wild speculation about my gender...

And thanks to whoever edited it. In all honesty (I've been on the cava so honesty is all I can do) I don't always like the editing of my stories - and I don't moan about it cos taking the editing is part of life for a writer, and life being a bitch ;-) But this one was improved by the editing for sure, so cheers.
