Does he really talk like Belvid Bragg all the time? Or is it just a cold? I wasn't listening to what he was saying, just how he was saying it.

In the episode of Blackadder the Third when Baldrick becomes an MP, Pitt the Younger always had a blocked nose. I thought Ed sounded a bit like that, although at 41 and only just becoming Party leader he's slacking because he's technically old enough to be Pitt the Younger's dad (at the age Pitt was when he first became PM - not now, that would be ridiculous).
Unfortunately I can't remember what Pitt the Even Younger, Pitt the Embryo or Pitt the Glint in the Milkman's Eye sounded like.

Not being an EN&T man or orthodontist but... it's possibly an unfortunate mix of adenoids and his 'Wallace' overbite.
As Scroat says, I spent the whole time listening to the delivery, not the message.

was there a message? I just heard a list of things he wasn't.

Dunno. Just a wall of "s'not"' then?

I thought he got off to a good start. He blamed everyone else. You can't get a better opening speech than that.

When his Brother David spoke at the conference he referred to Ed on multiple occasions as a 'special person' and I instantly thought of the preferred manner of referring to people with disabilities. I suspect that David actually does believe that Ed is a 'mong' for want of a better phrase and that the phrase 'special person' was an in-joke between David and his team!
Any thoughts on this anyone? Ed does sound as though he may once have had a very bad speech impediment!

On the top of his shopping list of problems should be some steroid nasal spray.
If he'd of come across any worse then i'm sured he would have caused the quickest ever parliamentary enquiry into bungs in history.Posted 2 years ago # -
Am I alone in thinking he's more like Gromit than Wallace?
