Does she? Bother. I, of course (like any well-adjusted person) can't stand Caroline Quentin, so have never watched Life of Riley.

The residents of neighbouring village Low Dudgeon are delighted by this news; if 'High Dudgeon' is in, it will undoubtedly be overrun by wealthy Londoners looking for bijou cottages in the country, who will push the price of property so high that High Dudgeoners will be forced to live in ex-council houses near Reading. It's the best news to reach Low Dudgeon since the repeal of the Corn Laws, or the closure of the High Dudgeon railway station in 1964.
