Insiders say that Tony Blair has recently begun to receive a small trickle of letters from the kind of screwed up women who usually write to well-known violent prisoners offering their bodies and their knitting abilities or at the very least some steamy letter-sex.
An anonymous source explains: "They usually begin something like, 'Dear Tony, I find your complicity in war crimes, and your frank disregard for whether your friends are overtly corrupt or human rights abusers or both, to be strangely arousing.' Apparently Pinochet got these letters too when he was being chased by the courts. His correspondents were an older crowd obviously. Blair still gets the young'uns."
Some think the recent change in the tone of correspondence to Blair may be a result of the Facebook campaign to 'subversively move Tony Blair's memoirs to the Crime section in bookshops'. Others say it is a more spontaneous change as the deep-running lack of morality of the man floats to the surface as he rides on the back of his former 'public service' to rake in the cash, signs up as consultant to the likes of Santos, President of Colombia who helped create a land-grabbing reign of terror in rural Colombia under cover of fighting guerillas, and as his plastic smile gets less convincing month by month.
All sources refused to comment on whether Tony Blair has been answering the letters.
