Just had a glance over the FPs for the month, and from my rough calculation of trying to put a name to a headline,it looks like the most open race in ages...None of this business of one or two big beasts (that's beasts) slugging it out with 17 FPs each, looks like there's a mix of vets and potential new names to be etched on the mug.
Could be my chance to recoup my losses backing fun & games all these months...

The rest of us are simply not up to it.
You gave us the chance and we blew it.
So can you please come back before things slip any further.
Flicking through the archives is great but if this is going to work then you are needed - write here, write now.
If anybody complains of favouritism/nepotism/cronyism/ ever again, just point to the Summer of Pisscontent...the three laughs a day week, rubbish piling up everywhere, the light going out, corpses lying around for days and the end of the 1st class post.
Or maybe it’s just an age thing, the shifting sand of comedy has moved off in another direction and some of us ‘just don’t get it anymore’.

I think it would be marvellous if everyone channelled their vast creativity into hilarious subs (creating their own or improving someone else's) rather than all the toy-throwing that has happened of late. We all need to play nicely, use our manners, put hands over mouths when coughing and leave each other's bits alone. You'd never know I arbitrate between toddlers for a pastime, would you.
As for the WoM - please dear life can we have someone new win it this month. Another girl would be nice - it gets very smelly in the pantheon of WoM with all those boys...
It's nice to see such a wide range of FP authors this month - not so nice to see so much space having to be filled by 'Newsbiscuit'
I suppose most of the regulars are all Poped out.
I'm as surprised as the next man not to see your stuff up there Oxy - oh, and can I borrow a tenner?

Gengo is alone with three, several others have two plus NiBs so it's all to play for. Though for the sheer quality of the Pope approaching to Star Wars music sub, La Maga must be the moral winner.

Do you regret your bad luck that you had loads of brilliant FPs in the same month that Ludo had slightly more? With better timing, ie inspiration falling this month, you'd have cleaned up no trouble. Although then you'd have been a 3-time WoM and we'd have been forced to hate you too, so every cloud...
