Public apathy is reaching boiling point over who will be next leader of the opposition and preside over a huge split in the party. A couple of schoolboys, someone with a comedy name and Diana Abbott are fighting it out with ... oh god knows who else (do they need that many candidates ?).
A recent poll showed that 95% of the population still thought Tony Blair was in charge of the party anyway. BBC political correspondent Trever Hustings said 'Oh even I don't care any more, no one else does. I'm off to the pub.'
