From each and every catastrophe come the opportunity for something new, hence the new event, “Bridge jumping” will be the first of its type in the history of the Games and all competitors and spectators will be expected to take part on their way into the stadium. Team room-cleaning and competitive hygiene compliance events will also precede the opening ceremony. The authorities have assured us that all preparations are on track and on budget.
