A BBC television natural history cameraman has been seen high in the Bhutan mountains of the Himalayas.
‘We were astonished to see a BBC cameraman at altitudes of 11,000 feet,’ growled a mountain tiger, speaking through an interpreter. ‘I thought they were an extinct species. Normally they are found within the comfort zones of five-star hotels where they feed on long lunches and expense-fuelled dinners and move around in chauffeur-driven cars. I don’t know how he survived the harsh conditions.’
A BBC spokesman pointed out that the cameraman comes from the Isle of Mull.
