Today, a big multi-national corporation released a new/improved/updated/fixed version of the already popular incarnation of its current model, which won awards in several catagories.
A company executive said in a conference: "This new thing is better/faster/easier to use/numerous in features, than the old one. The old one is a piece of crap now. This new one is cool." The new thing was displayed to a crowd, which is more shiny/better-looking/smaller/bigger than the old device.
The company pushed out ads with flashing colours/celeb endorsment/swirling masses/cool music to get you to buy the new thing, which may or may not be the revolutionary device for now. The device's ad was aimed at youngsters/the elderly/hipsters/teens/white-collars/blue-collars.
Several people who got the new device on launch day, stood in line for hours/days at their local shopping mall/high street in order to lay their hands on the new thing.
"It's amazing!" said a person who will represent the entirety of people who bought the new thing. "It has the company emblem/name/label on the front/back and is so much better than the thing I had for months from a different company who makes the same kinda thing."
Some people have said this device is useless and previous devices that are around today do the job as well as this new device.
Industy insiders say that other companies in the same field are making a device similar in shape/propeties/uses as this new one.
However some people have put off buying this new thing because of the high price involved, and hope the price will come down in the next month/year.
And some will wait until a newer version of this new thing comes out, so the entire cycle reported in this article will get repeated/broken/restarted/reshaped.
