Great!!!! Does that mean us Cockney Geezers can join in with the Oxbridge Toffs? I know my place.
Al, stop talking and keep serving the guests.
So they want to "encourage fresh voices" BUT only want to hear from "Writers who can demonstrate some professional achievement." How does that work?
Good point, Mr Laurel. I bet they didn't think of that. BTW, since I have grasped the fundamentals of our modern economy, everything looks more and more like the banking crisis. In this case, the BEEB looks like the banking crisis.
Also, the world's many national summer soap operas are fusing into a single story (have we at last discovered the Theory of Everything?), for example, France's L'Oréal-Bettencourt-Sarkozy-Election episode has joined up with the Madoff scandal - just a whiff for the present - but there seems to be a link via Geneva. On the other hand, although it's hugely hilarious, is this what is meant when the BEEB specifies "multicultural"? Somehow I don't believe so, but am convinced that it should be what they mean.
