After Universal snapped up a group of Cornish Sea Shantymen, Epic have announced that they are in contract negotiation with The Settlement Freeze Quartet. This latest multi-national group have been in the Middle East for several years under different names but without success.
Reborn as The Settlement Freeze Quartet, they have found fame with "Left Bank running lean" and "Sub-Israeli Homeshift Blues"
We understand that contract finalisation hinges on the groups insistence to include a cover of The Cure's 1978 indie classic "Killing an Arab" - Epic are hopeful that this can be toned down and they can compromise with a remake of The Stranglers track "I feel like a wog"
