Des - thank you so much for clearing that up. I have been coming up to speed with Mr Drill's naughty antics and find myself almost admiring his brass neck. "Good writers borrow, great writers steal" as I am oft quoted as remarking, along with "To be or not to be", "I have a dream" and "aga doo doo doo, push pinapples, shake the the tree".
Ram - I am awash with vomit, thank you for kind enquiry, which I of course inferred from your earlier response without need for clarification. Hope the whippets are thriving.
IABP - NB is giving out tokens now? Of course the site always needs more visitors, but I thought we were above bribery.

I didn't go to public school either and I have a mouse in my flat.
Any suggestions? Being a fluffy liberal type, I think some sort of humane trap
is in order. I've heard ammonia is a good deterrent but try asking for that in a chemist without ending up on some sort of anti-terror list.

Listen Reich. I'll be your pal again for five minutes. Don't bother trying to sub anything, it's not what you do. You are totally crap at it. Do what you can do, occasionally, when the moon's at a right angle to Orion, or Halley's Comet's due in the next decade or two, in a way which is slightly better than anyone else on here can do. Be a critic of the crap which is too often seen on here, without attributing all thing's rubbish to Donny, Gerry and Plucky all of whom have written far funnier stuff than you.Gerry, in particular has had umpteen FP's, under various names, which you've not even recognised as being in his style.
We've had a total tosser calling himself Thisisnotadrill and Rockisnotnoise who seemingly needs the adulation but hasn't got the talent, so copies the Onion, even though he admits on both personal details he comes from Birmingham. Obviously a loony. This sort of thing is your job. Forget about commenting on comments, get back to commenting on the subs. By order.

So now I'm confused... I thought Ramblesnake and Ramblesid were different incarnations of the same person, thus the whippets remark, R-Snake. So unless there is a multiple personality scenario, it would appear we have two Rambles. We are doubly blessed. And R-Snake, you can wash the vom off me anytime.

Gary - I did go to public school, so all I can suggest is that you pay someone on a lower income to dispose of your mouse for you. They like to be kept occupied.
And Al - thanks for the advice, but after three natural births, stable door, horse has bolted. And I choose my analogy carefully.

Jesus Mary, mother of whot's is name. I thought I had meself all worked out, now I'm all confused again. The only time either of us have been involved in whippets and a hose pipe we were let off with a quick drag round the cells by our nostrils and our testicles put in't microwave. Better than doing unpaid work in't it?

Ah. You spotted RockIsNotNoise...good...I didn't want to become the sub police, but the dude plagiarised his own name, registered 10 minutes after being rumbled as ThisIsNotADrill, and posted two Onion copies within 24 hours...I thought I'd leave it till he did a third before posting the links to the originals...looks like Genghis Cohen linked him in anyway...good...in Spain with dodgy WiFi at the minute, so haven't been able to keep up.

Yes, hooray to IAmSuchATool for his heroic efforts in copying out whole articles from the Onion. Honestly, if more people showed this dedication, we wouldn't need photocopiers.
I'm with hinny on this one - too obvious to be genuine plagiarism, more likely just a troll having fun being caught out. Although I love the idea of a rival comedy site trying to sabotage us... :-)

Hi Mary, have a wet wipe for the vomit. Apart from the plagiarism, it's been fairly quiet. Things should liven up a bit when Rikkor and I sub our musical comedy based on the Rwandan genocide. We're just a bit stuck on finding rhymes for "Rwanda", apart from "Uganda".
