As the last ever episode of Last of the Summer Wine is broadcast later today, Buckingham Palace has released a short press statement saying how much the Queen has enjoyed watching Last of the Summer Wine on BBC1 over the years, but from now on re-runs of Bo-Selecta on More-4 will be the Queen's official favourite TV programme.
In a move which is seen as an attempt by the Monarchy to reflect wider, more contemporary trends in society, the Queen is also quoted as saying "It is proper-bo, I tell thee!"
