Yup. Domestic Salmonella and Botulism outbreak cut at a stroke.

Perhaps the MoT could issue a 'Hints and Guidelines' pamphlet advising how to cream the delivery guys without squishing them? Simple 'brain-death' with perfect preserved bodily organs... Upending them from behind, car door open at the right moment, etc, etc?

Also... little stickers that can be stuck on the side of your car each time you knock one down, just like the kill markings on a spitfire or whatever. Also available in hedgehog, fox, cyclist and old lady.

Also. This is true, it's perfectly legal to run down cyclists at night if they don't have lights on.
