LibDems to be rebranded as Alt-Middle
I like the idea!
But what has always doomed the Lib Dems is their repeated declaration that they are an alternative left-of-centre party. And if by that they mean 'left-of-centre' but 'not really full-blooded Socialists' then (if we ignore Corbyn, which most people do) that position is already filled by the Labour party.
What there possibly is room for would be a genuine Middle party.
