Doing good Plucky, and hope you, your shoulder and Mrs Munky are too.
Dundee [i]is[i a great Uni, and was originally St. Margaret's College, St. Andrews.
Has a very good reputation I believe.Posted 3 years ago # -
I'd noticed the single malt was no longer to be found in the JB household, indeed I've taken to bringing round my own Sloe Gin, Cooking sherry and cheap Cider.
Go for it on the Education front. Tricky choice, could you do law for future earnings potential and a class or two in English for love of it?
If I win the lottery I'd go to Uni to do something I like, but alas I can't see a way to do it and earn a living for the family too. I really should do more work related study to get the money, but my heart isn't in it.

Thanks Quaz, I'm afraid we're reduced to supermarket own brand everything at the moment. What's the point of being the boss and bosses wife when the staff can afford more than us?!
Oh well, that's what happens when the boss decides to take a massive paycut rather than cut staff. (See, he's a nice guy, deep down).
Either way, both courses have to provide me with increased earning potential, but because I want it all, I'd want job satisfaction and enjoyment too. Can't really see where I could go with English other than into teaching, and that would be a last resort. No disrespect to teachers, quite the opposite in fact, but I'd rather do something else.
Law has the potential to give me a really good income, and it would offer variety and continued learning, both of which appeal.
At this rate, I think I'll be sticking a pin in the prospectus to decide!Posted 3 years ago #
