Just a brief thank-you note for
- regularly republishing some of the most brilliant classic stories from the archives. Always good a for a laugh, and a reminder of the standards we should all aspire to (e. g. 'Judges Rule On Landmark Case Of Sod's Law Versus Parkinson's Law')
- updating the tickers. Even the funniest ones cease to be funny after they've been up there for several weeks and they have passed their sell-by dates. Tickers are supposed to be topical FFS.
- at least one of your selectors clearly enjoying silly, simple puns (e.g., "hacking cough") as much as I do

Looking at Private Eye occasionally reminds me just how good some of the grown-ups / professional humourists can be, e.g. an anounciating angel telling a young lady that she will bring forth a baby boy-child and the young lady replying "Is this anything to do with Mick Jagger?"
And an appreciation of John Finnemore on BBC Radio Four - especially his 'were spider' story this week. Genius.
