Israeli soldier who took prisoner abuse photos "criticised for taking photos"

I spoke to a photographer on site in Paris during 1962, when Algerian protesters were mowed down by police machine gun fire and hunted, their bodies thrown into the Seine. He rushed down to the metro where people were taking refuge, only to be sternly admonished by a uniformed metro emplyee who screamed that "it is forbidden to take photos". To which he replied: It's forbidden to kill people, no matter what colour they are.
Thanks Hunter, glad someone got it! :-)
