Actually, this could be a nice FP piece. Here's why: the advertiser has bought a huge block of telephone time and there are a lot of avaiable minutes to Somalia. the advertiser is [gasp] actually losing money on Somalia.

Like: he doesn't write and never calls....

It might be that Somalian migrants might want to call home at less than BT's standard rates.

Oh yeah, of course. Because if I wanted to sell something to somalians the first place I'd choose to advertise is newsbiscuit, the place is virtually awash with somalians wanting to call home who haven't worked out that by simply getting their family and themselves on skype instead of surfing newsbiscuit all day long that they could actually call home for free every day, all day...

I wonder, really do wonder.. what the take up rate is on that advert.. Call Somalia for less.. Oh yeah, why not, what a great idea!!
