The man who killed the police officer in his underpants told the judge 'in my country this is old custom' but the judge 'was not having it' and gave the man life.
The female police officer, had somehow failed to get out of the way of the man as he repeatedly lunged at her with his truncheon.
'It's how she would have wanted it' said work colleagues 'going down in the line of duty doing the only job she ever loved'
