LIBERTY CITY, U.S.A. - Records show that crime is at an all-time high in the City of Liberty, home to the Statue of Happiness, and the BAWSAQ exchange.
According to local opinion, the state has been overrun with criminals and gun warfare, even though there has been an indescribably large amount of police patrolling the streets.
"It's crazy," says one occupant of an apartment near Middle Park. "It's a good thing there's a strict 'no kids' policy by the government here, because they wouldn't wanna grow up here."
"Look, I saw I guy drive into a pay'n'spray, stay there for a few hours, and bam!" says a policeman. "All his crimes are forgotten, and he walks free. They don't do these kinda things in San An, or Vice. No way."
Some concerned locals say that the police are too easily bought off, letting a murderer go after only a few hours in the cell. Others say that even after being massacred with a bazooka, city hospitals can patch you right up, and still leave you with all your weapons.
"You see," says a lawman, who puts it down to tactics. "The police can only look so far out of a 2.5 mile radius mostly. If the criminal even walks out of it for a few seconds, the search is off, no questions asked. It's just ineffective."
Some say it's not as bad as the 1970s, where several circles started eating little dots and cherries, being chased by ghosts.
