More bad news for England Manager Fabio Capello tonight, as news surfaced that the entire crowd for tomorrow night's friendly fixture against Hungary, has pulled out due to injury. Newspaper reports claim their Mum's rang the manager to inform him they all had problems of an 'arsed' related nature and wouldn't make it.
It's been confirmed by FA chairman Roger Burden, that his mum has been called up by Capello as cover for veteran goalkeeper David James who starts. James is the only recognised fit keeper said, "It's my duty to play for the National side, especially as the Prime Minister has raised the retirement age now."
In the last 3 days Capello has lost 220,781 players to injury, retirement, queasiness, demolition, rabies, kidnap, flooding, pestilence, locust infestation (Frank Lampard's greenhouse was overrun) and plain stupidity. The pitch and stadium itself are due for late fitness tests but are expected to be passed fit. All approach roads and the floodlights were ruled out earlier in the week but the reserve team floodlights from the Emirates have been called in. The M40 between junctions 7 to 8, is set to get its first senior cap as it stands in for Wembley Way, which is suffering pothole damage.
