"We do not necessarily have to use Article 50 - we may agree with the EU another path that is in both our interests" - from the Leave campaign website, which still bangs on about the (discredited) £350m savings
Nobody has called anybody on this website a racist, or even implied it. I'd be the first to shoot them down. However, there is no doubt that xenophobia & (to a lesser degree) racism are widespread in some parts of this country, esp away from the cities, and these people are quite unlikely to have voted "Remain". That grossly offensive attitude reflects on everyone in the UK
Both sides of the campaign have lied throughout, esp the Leave side, and this is far more than for a general election. Additionally, certain papers have exploited their readers to guide their votes for their own ends. This is unprofessional & blatantly manipulative by politicians & newspaper owners
And on the Remain side, nearly every professional organisation with any clout has said it would be a disaster to Leave, and they have obviously been proven right
The result of the referendum was very marginal, and just an official opinion poll with no legal authority.
And the end result is evidentially the most damaging event in this country since WWII, financially & reputationally. This is far worse than even the blind leaders of the Leave campaign had anticipated
And consider the effect on younger voters - those aged below 40 are "younger", not "young". They were strongly in favour of Remain, and the effects of this Referendum will be with them for the rest of their lives, and the older generation have voted against their own children. Sick.
And you seriously want us to shut up ? Do you want to withdraw freedom of speech, too ?It's not a game, Titus
