Pakistani Prime Minsiter Zardari ended his 5 day visit to the UK with a rally.
A keen fan of motor sports since his impoverished childhood when the family used to have a fleet of soapbox carts as a motorcade. Aides felt that attendance at the Birmingham Community Soap Box Rally 2010 was a fitting and relaxing way to end what has undoubtedly been a stressful visit.
Apparently all funds raised from the days events are to be donated to the Clean Water for Haiti Charity. Zardari's suggestion that Pakistan had more water than Haiti could ever wish for was initially taken out of context and reported as being a little smug and trite. He countered by advising that maybe with the help of BP they could distribute some of their water to the impoverished victim of the recent earthquake..
