Speaking at a press conference, Press Secretary Martin Hughes announced the new qualifications, stating “Many office-based careers involve a great deal of sitting, but until now, school leavers have been unable to produce certification which provides proof of their abilities in this area. This qualification, along with our other new courses, provides young people with the opportunity to prepare for working life. The skills and competencies taught on such courses are all transferable, so should an individual choose the popular ‘Benefits’ career route, a qualification in sitting will still prove useful.”</p> <p>Other courses announced include a further GCSE course in Creative Excuses and the much anticipated AS level Advanced Scratching (Non-eczematous route), which may be upgraded to the full A2 level course if successful. </p>
