They aren’t planning any rutting, at least not together, on these projects. They don’t want people to think of them simply as two people who are always going at it like a horny terrier at a leg convention.”</p> <p>Katy Perry speaking on Late Night with David Letterman said: “Before I became famous for rutting the shit out of things I actually did some singing and had an album out and everything.”</p> <p>“Sure, yeah,” replied Letterman, “but now tell me, when was the last time you and Russell got down to some serious fuzz bumping?”</p> <p>A spokesperson for Warner Bros pictures confirmed Brand will take the lead in saucy comedy “Whoops A Daisy” alongside fellow Brits Emily Mortimer and Tom Wilkinson. “It’s a total departure for me,” said Brand, “I play this really horny English guy who loves shagging and basically there’s a whole bunch of people trying to stop me.”</p> <p>Meanwhile Perry told KRQT radio in Los Angeles, “Obviously, I’m going to miss just hanging with Russell round our apartment, with my legs wrapped round his head, wearing him like a scruffy balaclava. But we both want our relationship to be about more than just trying to insert things in each other at weird angles.</p> <p>“That’s why I’m delighted to be recording a series of proper songs, maybe about blow jobs or girl-on-girl action, as it gives me the chance to show the public another side to my personality. And on the album cover I’m going to be completely nude apart from a couple of tastefully placed feathers and an ear trumpet.”</p> <p>Baz Dalrymple, editor of Celebrity magazine Upskirt, said: “This might lose them some fans in the short term, but I think these same fans need to bear in mind that this is a temporary thing. They haven’t said they’re going to stop rutting, just do it slightly less. Even if they weren’t pursuing other projects it is probably sensible for them to have some kind of time out, if only to reduce the risk of one of them becoming unconscious or suffering some sort of rupture.” </p>
