Worried about viewing audience figures, a unique collaboration between BBC and ITV has meant that the live election debate between the party leaders was replaced by the leaders forming a team on Celebrity Hole in the Wall

Pitted against Christopher Biggins, Dale Winton and Una Stubbs the party leaders donned their own lycra all in one suits of red, yellow and blue.

After safely negotiating the single figures of an MP waving orders, a second home, and the shape of an MP writing a cheque to repay expenses, they had to do the joint team challenge to win the game

The sound of the drum roll grew ever more deafening until a gong sounded. And there it was, their challenge, the figure of a voter. The three turned to each other, never having before seen such an apparition, the seconds ticked by ... too late, all three ended up wetter than they had started, the voter untouched

Biggins claimed victory, and declared himself Prime Minister representing the Panto Party... to horse to horse!
