Alert UK officials have uncovered an elaborate plot which has seemingly taken in American officials. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton naively believed that Iraqi dissidents were in fact members of a fictional nation “The Iroquois Confederacy”.

UK Border agents quickly spotted the error, a spokesman saying “if it’s not in our Atlas then it’s not recognised and doesn’t exist, and they hadn’t really tried that hard, after all when you say Iroquois it is obviously a play on words.”
