The BBC have announced that they will be changing the format of The Apprentice to appeal to a wider audience. Market research has shown that the viewing public are getting tired of seeing the same smug MBA waving lizards on the show each week trying to back stab each other to win a top job.

The new format will see 12 of the countries top up and coming benefit cheats vieing for a reduced sentence.
Each week a challenge will be set and the contestants will have to find the best way to fully exploit the scenario for as much tax payer money as possible while doing as little actual work. At the end of each challenge the contestants are taken into the "Dock" and Judge John Oxton will decide which of the contestants will be "Sent Down".

In the first episode the contestants will be told that they have to earn as much money cash in hand while still completing as many of the required documents to say that they have been actively seeking work.
