This comes after Figgins took a box full of world class tools and pipes to repair a boiler but only got halfway through before it collapsed on him dissapointing the home owners that had turned out to watch. Figgins is being pressured to step down as senior Gas Fitter for the Rotheram area but will be waiting to see if British Gas release his contract netting him a pay out of £160 in Argos vouchers. The performance of Figgins has split Britsh Gas fans up and down the country. Baz Thorogood, a fan who travelled to watch the boiler repair said "Well as Gas Fitters go he's done better than some before him. At least he actually got to the house with the spanners this time. I won't say he's the best as he has brought 2 12mm ring spanners to the fitting and thats left a gap on the left hand side where you really want a 14mm or a big adjuster.".
