Still, it's good to see the editing team can't spell dining yet. Maybe that's in the next chapter.

Well done Jeni. Keep the apostrophe flying.

Everything's a battle with Miss Scroat at the moment. I know we'll look back and smile, but when you're in the middle of it all, it's just such a total pain.

However tomorrow I will be able to forget work and domestic hassles. It's my birthday and we're off for a long walk along the Thames. Well Marlow to Henley. Via tea-shops and a pub.

I hate that too Scroat. I'm almost afraid to mention it, but one of the things that the young master's teacher commented on yesterday was how well he was doing in English, and that she was very pleased with his grasp of apostrophes. I must admit to giving myself a pat on the back for that.

My daughter's started doing that! It makes me very cross. Unbelievable how this ever came into being.

IT'S JUST THE WRONG WORD. END OF.

RANT RANT RANT....

I miss all the bickering about apostrophe's. Is their no other grammatical construct that we can discuss instead? I'd of thought we could come up with something.

Malgor? Malgor! Table for one? I saw that the required changes were made. Didn't think it worth mentioning after all this time.

Are you still ranting on, rikkor? If you'd bother to check, you'd find that the apostrophe fairy has waved his magic wand across the entire site. Instances of misplaced or missing apostrophes no longer sully these pages. Back of the net. Rikkor 1, Rest Of The World 0.

Whatever the outcome of the debate, it's pretty clear that I can't spell the name of the bard of Stratford upon Avon correctly in the early hours. Maybe Bacon wrote it all, I can spell Bacon (mmmmm, bacon).

"It is the most shattering moment of a young man's life, when one morning he awakes, and quite reasonably says to himself, I will never play the Dane. When that moment comes, one's ambition ceases..."
