The new product, known as the I-pad, is larger than previous models and can be used to carry up to four cups of tea or coffee around the home or office, and comes with an easy clean matt silver finish.</p> <p>Introducing the product, Steve Jobs said: "The I-pad is revolutionary, but you already know how to use it - you may even have something like it in your kitchen". He went on "There's no up, no down, no right or wrong way to use it. It's the best cup carrying experience, the best glass carrying experience, the best bottle carrying experience there is". The I-pad is the long awaited successor to the I-pod, which although popular was criticised by some because it could only accommodate one cup, leading some coffee drinkers to simply carry their drink by its purpose built handle. </p> <p>Early reviews have praised the I-pad's greater cup capacity, but have already criticised Apple for failing to correct a flaw which has long plagued its products - the smooth, highly polished surface which can lead to drinks simply slipping off the side and smashing onto the floor, often scalding the user in the process. </p>
