"It's completely out of order for yobs to attack these cameras that are there to provide use with crime-fighting opportunities and a revenue stream by selling the tapes to SKY."</p> <p>15 cameras in the town centre will now be monitored by another 30 cameras - 2 for each site - with the footage itself watched by a new control room staffed by 20 people in near-by Haverhill.</p> <p>Questions have been raised by opponents of the scheme, who say no proper investigation has been carried out in to suitability of the staff who'll be employed in the new centre and whether the extra cameras are really necessary.</p> <p>However, the news has already had an impact, with an explosion registered in the offices of the Daily Mail newspaper.</p> <p>Detectives are currently treating a press release discovered at the scene as an incendiary device; unfortunately no CCTV footage is available due the paranoia of the owners.</p> <p>(Thanks to Sauce for pushing me to write a full sub.
