<description>&#60;p&#62;Following today’s hastily convened meeting of the government ‘Food Standards Agency’ (FSA) with the heads of Meat Retailers and Suppliers. Environment Secretary Tommy Scruttock released a statement outlining the responsibilities of the new FSA Watchdog’s Watchdog. The new Watchdog titled ‘Lassie’ will not only be another toothless tiger, DNA checks will be made to ensure this Lapdog is indeed a dog, a dog born and bred in England too-boot. Lassie will be armed with a few flimsy guidelines – we will be expecting to throw loads-a-money at the problem too. With any luck this should ‘more or less’ have some influence, hopefully persuading the food industry to be nice from now on.
