I think this article shows the attitude of the area. In this age of multi-culturalism, a community is described as 'strong' when it makes up 0.5% of the population (Chipping Norton having a population of about 6000). Add to that the fact there were 28 objections, that's nearly 1 per Muslim, I think it highlights a problem of attitudes among those that live there. </p>
