Research In Motion, makers of the Blackberry Smartphone, have announced they are finally catching up with rivals Samsung and Apple with the BB10, a handset they say has been ‘designed to work’. Stepping away from it’s business model of selling unreliable and dated handsets, RIM have taken the brave step of making the BB10 the first Blackberry not to be delivered with a Mazuma Mobile recycling bag.

‘We understand our customers previous complaints and hopefully we have addressed them’ RIM’s UK Managing Director Stephen Bates told us. ‘With the new BB10 we set ourselves a goal that 75% of customers will be able to make calls, send texts, and receive Email in at least 2 hours in every 24’. Unfortunately he was unable to confirm that the company had employed Andy Murray so they could claim to have at least one reliable server.

The telephone interview ended abruptly as the device Mr Bates was using started cutting out and making noises that caused him to start swearing. However a press release has confirmed that the BB10 will be the ‘strongest yet’ meaning when you repeatedly hit it with a hammer the device can continue to be as smug as the user when they first bought it.
