"We thought that the end of the world's longest running and most tedious sitcom might elicit some excitement from people relieved at the chance for some decent - or even half decent - programming on a Sunday night. But so far, nothing."</p> <p>"Therefore, we're conducting a high level investigation to find out why no-one's interested. It could be because the show's so unremittingly dull that no-one cares, or that the show's fans are unable to use those new fangled computers everyone's talking about." </p>
