Chelsea’s interim manager, Rafa Benitez, has launch a scathing attack on the ball boy who was kicked in the ribs by Eden Hazard. He has accused him of ‘diving, time wasting, simulating injury and generally acting like a Chelsea player’ after Eden Hazard assaulted him in what was Chelsea’s best attack of the game.

In the post match press conference Benitez produced a 15 page dossier explaining his side of the story. ‘I don’t think Eden actually touched him, yet he still went down easier than Drogba in his prime. His actions were totally unacceptable and we shall let him know how upset we are when he comes for his trial next week.’

The 17 year old ball boy, who had previously tweeted his intention to waste time, was said to be delighted at the prospect of being signed to Chelsea for his cheating prowess. ‘I don’t know why I did what I did, it just came naturally. I think that's what they liked.’ He has since apologised for his actions showing he has a level of dignity, something Chelsea have said they will knock out of him.

Commenting after the game, Eden Hazard said he can’t wait to work with the youngster, but stated although he has a natural talent, he still has much to learn. ‘At no point during our confrontation did I hear him racially abuse anyone. This is something we can easily teach him, but until then we can just pretend he did.'

The FA have looked at the ball boy’s dive and retrospectively issued a yellow card to Gareth Barry.
