The newscasters are not the news!</p> <p>It drives me nuts when the camera pans to the interviewer nodding sagely when they have nothing to say and the person who does (who is the news) is out of the shot. </p> <p>...unless it is Cameron/Milliband or similar, who are torture to watch, with their emphatic gestures/gurning to mask a lack of sincerity. Perhaps the BBC could consider scrolling through a gallery of calming pastoral scenes while the voices are carrying on in the background.
