The government has expressed interest in proposals to use the hot air given off by any session in either chamber of the house to generate electricity. Output during even low key debates is calculated to be enough to power not only the houses of parliament themselves but even a significant part of borough of Westminster.

Initial problems that were encoutered regarding storing the power generated have been resolved using humidity fom drips such as Nick Clegg and the huge amounts of flannel produced by the parties.

As part of the scheme all of the Royal gardens and parks of London will also be fertilized using the bullshit given off daily by all the major parties.
