Also not having to endure the stress and disappointment of unwrapping useless presents, nor suffering the duress and hassle of putting up with visiting family and their kids, meant that his natural metabolic rate remained within it's standard parameters so there was no requirement to eat 4000% more than normal. </p> <p>Edited, probably badly!
