Expelled ANC Youth League (ANYCL) president Julius Malema has been invited to join ZANU PF youth league in Zimbabwe if ANC decide that they they do not want him back. He will, join forces with Jabulani Sibanda the leader of the War Veterans Association with the aim of to regain ZANU PF lost ground. This is an initiative from the Youth and Indigenization Minister Saviour Kasukuwere, and ZANU-PF Youth Chairman Absolom Sikhosana who are in agreement with President Robert Mugabe on the suggestion.

By conscripting Malema in its ranks many ZanuPF pundits believe that Julius would be what Cyril Ramaphosa the newly elected ANC deputy president is to ANC leader Jacob Zuma. He is deemed to be the party’s messiah and definitely an asset to ZanuPf campaign. Julius Malema is expected in Harare on Saturday evening and is scheduled to meet president Robert Mugabe before he flies out of Zimbabwe to the far east for his traditional Xmas break. Malema would be housed at the party headquarters and would be in charge of the election directorate and becomes de facto Youth Leader of ZANU PF.

Julius Sello Malema (born 3 March 1981) is a South African politician. Malema, a Pedi, was born in Seshego. He joined the African National Congress's Masupatsela at the age of nine or ten. His main task was to illegally remove National Party posters. Malema took longer than usual to complete secondary school, graduating at the age of 21 from Mohlakaneng High School in Seshego, Limpopo; he failed most of his subjects. In 2010, Malema completed a two-year diploma in youth development through University of South Africa (UNISA). He is currently enrolled at UNISA for a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications and African languages.

He has been described by the president of South Africa, Jacob Zuma as the “future leader" of South Africa. He hails from the Limpopo Province of South Africa which is adjacent to Zimbabwe’s Matebeland South border town of Beit Bridge. Limpopo region of South Africa is often referred as the Zimpopo Province because the residents have relatives from either side and share a host of cultural values. Julius Malema is considered a truly Zimbabwean, the type of guy that can cross the Limpopo border without papers. In ZANU PF his job is assured of full support from ZANU PF cadres since the former ruling party is preparing for the elections against its bitter rival Morgan Tsvangirai’s Movement for Democratic Change scheduled for March 2013.

Malema visited Zimbabwe in October 2012 to attend a wedding and to address the ZANU-PF Youth wing. Johannesburg's Mail and Guardian quoted the Zimbabwean Herald Online in a story, saying Malema had told the meeting: "He said the youths in South Africa were calling for whites to surrender land and minerals resources they hold because when they came from Europe they did not carry any land into South Africa." Malema is vocal advocate of nationalising South African mines. Although the ANC, has made it clear that this was not ANC policy. Malema's opinions on nationalisation are not shared by South Africa's large National Union of Mineworkers (NUM), which stated that it is against the nationalisation of South Africa's mines.

The controversial youth leader’s future was already looking bleak after his expulsion from the ruling party was ratified by the ANC’s disciplinary appeals committee in late April, but events in the past fortnight have pushed him further into the political wilderness. On 26 September 2012, Malema was charged with money laundering, relating to his awarding of lucrative government contracts in Limpopo in return for an alleged 4 million rand in kickbacks. After a hearing at the court in Polokwane, he was granted bail of 10,000 rand. ZANU PF will reicarnate the firebrand foot solder blood in Julius Malema.

ZANU PF which has been in power since 1980 lost the 2008 elections, when Tsvangirai won 47.9% of the vote according to Zimbabwe Electoral Commission results, ahead of Mugabe's 43.2%, necessitating a run-off because neither candidate won a majority. International media reported that MDC members and supporters, including prominent activist Tonderai Ndira who was murdered in May, were subjected to arrests, beatings and killings during the campaign period for the second round of the election. In the last election MDC had made in roads in Robert Mugabe's stronghold of the rural areas. SADC intervened and a Kenyan type of transitional government is in place of which Robert Mugabe is the President and Morgan Rchard Tsvangirai is the Prime Minister.

Indeed there is no doubt that ZANU PF which has a vibrant youth regimentation by joining forces with the vociferous and charistmatic Julius Malema the party is assured of recovering lost ground and claim a resounding victory in the forthcoming 2013 general elections. Morgan Tsvangirai seem to have lost it in the bedroom because of numerous sex scandals since he became Prime Minister. Many believe Malema is going to unite self destructive fractious factions within ZANU PF and who knows the succession problem would be a thing of the past. A king is born this Xmas in form of Julius Malema who looks like the greatest present the country has ever had since attaining independence from the British in 1980.
